Baby can hear you

The ears are developing and baby may start to hear muffled sounds from the outside world, including your voice.

Fine hair appears

Soft hair called lanugo begins to cover baby’s body to help regulate temperature.

Bones are strengthening

Bones are growing harder, especially in the legs and arms, allowing for more movement.

15 Weeks Pregnant Belly

By Week 15, your uterus is growing quickly. It's likely rising up and out of your pelvis, which means your lower belly might be starting to show more noticeably, especially if this isn’t your first pregnancy.

You might notice:

  • A small but defined baby bump forming, especially when standing or wearing tighter clothes.

  • A firmer feel in the lower abdomen, just above the pubic bone.

  • Less bloating than in earlier weeks, so your bump may look more like a baby belly than just water retention.

  • Round ligament pain, which can feel like stretching or tugging on the sides of your belly as your uterus expands.

Even if you're not visibly showing yet, there's a lot happening inside! Every body grows at its own pace, some show early, others much later, and all are normal.
