19 Weeks Pregnant Belly
At 19 weeks, your belly is becoming more prominent, and it’s common for strangers to start noticing you’re pregnant. Your uterus is about the size of a mango and sitting just below your belly button. You may also start to notice skin stretching, so keeping the skin moisturized can help reduce itching and support elasticity. This is also a good time to start wearing maternity support belts if you're experiencing back or pelvic discomfort.
Tips & Resources
Pelvic floor prep: Begin gentle Kegel exercises now to strengthen the pelvic floor, which will help during labour and with postpartum healing.
Sleep support: Try using a body pillow or wedge under your belly to relieve back pressure and help you sleep more comfortably on your side.
Back pain relief: Incorporate light prenatal stretches or yoga to relieve back tension. A warm (not hot) bath can also help soothe sore muscles.
Talk to baby: Now that your baby can hear, take time to read or talk to them out loud. This encourages early bonding and may even calm them after birth.
